live your God-given destiny.

Exams are drawing closer by the day, and unitians and people from other schools are left with 3 days. this is scary. but God overcomes. through the times of difficulties(discouraged by previous results, peer pressure, addiction to computer games) which prevents you from concentrating in your studies and at the same time, focusing on God, He helps you overcome.

especially during this period of time, when most people tend to focus too much on studies, they forget God. God should not be forgotten. after all, He is God and nothing is to big for Him to overcome.

so i just wanna say that if you ask, it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock on the door and it shall be open to you. whatever problems you are facing now, ask God to help you.

on sunday, one of our sis(sis gwen) preached and her sermon title is stated above.

Hebrews 12: 1-3- 1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance th race that is set before us,
2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down on the right hand of the throne of God.
3 consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

1. Repentence (1 John 1:8-9)

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess ous sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to clense us from all unrightousness.

2. Release (col 3:13-14)

13 Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, you also must do.
14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

3. Reconcile relationships (1 cor 1:10)

10 Now i plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgement.

Lastly, to win the Race, you have to fix your eyes on Jesus.

26~ For you see your calling, brethen, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
27~ But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
28~ and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,

God have not called many wise, mighty and noble but the foolish, the weak and the despised to prove God's power.
